Even though Nixon in China is about, well, Nixon in China, it has strong relevance to Vancouver audiences. Our Chinese population has a long, interesting history and is an integral part of our community. You can learn more by attending the many Nixon in China Community Engagement events ... and by participating in THE GREAT CHINATOWN HISTORY HUNT!

How it works:

1. Follow VO on Twitter or Facebook.
2. Watch for clues about 5 historic locations in Vancouver’s Chinatown.
3. Go to these historic locations. Take a picture of you at these landmarks. Email all 5 pictures to lchan@vancouveropera.ca
4. Get entered into a draw for 2 tickets for the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden, a $150 gift certificate to Floata Seafood Restaurant and 2 tickets to Nixon in China!

Everyone gets a 20% discount on Nixon in China tickets just for participating! Discount applies to all March 16 and 18 performances in any section (excluding A+, E & F)

Contest begins RIGHT NOW and closes on Friday, Feb. 12, 2010.

Special thank you to Floata Restaurant and Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden for generously sponsoring the Chinatown History Hunt!
